Links parses shortcut (LNK) files either individually or by entire directories. It extracts up to 16 pieces of metadata from each file and reports them in a easy to view window that can be sorted, manipulated, saved or cut to clipboard. Users can select what data to display and on what data to sort the display. Saved data can be reloaded at a later date. There is no limit to the number of files that can be parsed by Links! in one or multiple sessions. Links! automatically identifies target files that exist on truely removable media so the user can immediately see material from flash drives, cd/dvd media, external hard drives, etc.
